It aims to provide a forum for local growers, food processors, and artisans to educate the public about agricultural and artisanal products, offer local and seasonal products, and promote the general welfare of the community. The vendors are part of the historic town of Woodstock, with the goal of providing fresh, local, handmade, and homegrown products to community members and visitors. The market is located on the property of the American Legion Post #199 in the heart of historic downtown Woodstock. It offers hormone-free beef, pork, and lamb; antibiotic-free chicken; smoked sausage; seasonal veggies, fruits, and berries; eggs; fresh baked goods; chocolates and cheesecake; handcrafted health & beauty aids; visual art; and various small business retail products.
The market is a year-round operation and welcomes leashed dogs. It's located in a historic downtown area and aims to provide an alternative to big box stores by offering healthy foods and handcrafted arts and crafts at reasonable prices.
