Farmers' Market at Poplar Grove

About This Market

A farmers market at Poplar Grove, promoting local farmers and producers, offering fresh goods directly to consumers.

In 2025, Poplar Grove’s main entrance is relocating to the building site at 101 Scotts Hill Loop Road, currently housing Grumpy Grandpa’s and Queen Esther Teas. This new entrance building will be referred to as The Mercantile and will provide an opportunity for local growers and producers to sell their goods directly to consumers. The Mercantile at Poplar Grove will strive to promote local farmers & the use of local products, provide the local community with an opportunity to get to know their farmer, their baker, their artisan marker, and educate the public on the history of agriculture at Poplar Grove.

The opening date is scheduled for April 2025, after the Herb & Garden Fair. Please stay tuned for further information.

The outbuildings and stable fence lines of the museum complex can be explored during market hours. However, tours of the manor house require a ticket purchase.

Interesting Facts

The market is located within the Gullah Geechee Cultural Heritage Corridor, offering a unique historical and cultural experience.
