About This Market
A popular farmers market celebrating 32 years of Jersey Fresh and local vendors, offering a large, safe, and enjoyable walking market every Saturday from 8 am - 1 pm, rain or shine, through the Saturday before Thanksgiving.
The Scotch Plains Farmers' Marketplace was established in 1992 as a community service to support local farmers and enable them to develop new markets for their produce. In 1994, the Scotch Plains Business + Professional Association (SPBPA) took over management to attract and increase business activity in downtown Scotch Plains. Over the years, it has evolved and expanded into a diverse Marketplace. The Scotch Plains Farmers' Marketplace is managed by the Scotch Plains Business+ Professional Association, a non-profit organization that aims to assist and enhance the business community in the Township of Scotch Plains, as well as its community involvement and contributions.
