The Winthrop Farmers Market is a farmer and artisan market committed to providing the local community with access to fresh organic produce and to showcase the unique foods and crafts of artists and small businesses.
Winthrop is a seaside community with over 18,000 residents located just a few miles from downtown Boston. The Winthrop Farmers Market is managed by an all-volunteer committee, with the support of the Town Manager and the local business community. The events are promoted heavily in town, as well as in the neighboring communities of East Boston, Chelsea, and Revere - via print, online, and social media.
The Winthrop Farmers Market (“WFM”) is a farmer and artisan market committed to providing the local community with access to fresh organic produce from independent farmers and to showcase the unique foods and crafts of artists and small businesses through the organization of seasonal markets which foster an inclusive environment and entrepreneurial vitality.

The Winthrop Farmers Market was filmed for HGTV's hit program Beachfront Bargain Hunt. Also, the Winthrop Farmers Market was named 'Citizen of the Year' by the town of Winthrop, and each year, the Market gives charitable donations to local organizations including local food pantries and scholarships for graduating Winthrop High School Seniors.
