The Gray Street Farmers Market is an outreach program of the UofL School of Public Health and Information Sciences in partnership with Common Earth Gardens (Catholic Charities) and Louisville Metro Dept. of Public Health & Wellness. The goal is to increase access to fresh, locally grown food in the downtown area.
The Gray Street Farmers Market began in 2009 as an outreach program of the UofL School of Public Health and Information Sciences, which is done in partnership with Common Earth Gardens (Catholic Charities) and Louisville Metro Dept. of Public Health & Wellness. The goal of the market is to increase access to fresh, locally grown food in the downtown area. The GSFM sets up on the 400 block of E. Gray Street, directly across the street from the UofL School of Public Health and Information Sciences and the Louisville Metro Dept. of Public Health & Wellness. In 2024, the Gray Street Farmers Market will be open every Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from June--September.
