About This Market
CitySeed's mission is to engage the community in growing an equitable, local food system that promotes economic development, community development and sustainable agriculture through farmers markets and other programs.
CitySeed Farmers’ Markets are producer-only markets, which means all of the produce a farmer sells under their tent was grown on their farm. CitySeed also offers services and resources to build and grow your venture. CitySeed also runs Sanctuary Kitchen which provides professional development and employment at an above-market wage for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in the Greater New Haven area.
