It operates every Wednesday and Sunday at the United Nations Plaza above Civic Center BART station. The market accepts EBT, credit cards, WIC vouchers, Vouchers 4 Veggies, and More. The Information Tent is near the intersection of Larkin and Fulton Streets, where customers can purchase tokens and vouchers to shop using a credit card, debit card, CalFresh SNAP EBT card (with a match of up to $30 free every month for more fruits and vegetables). The market also provides information about using food assistance vouchers like EatSF’s Vouchers 4 Veggies, WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program vouchers, and VeggieRx with our farmers. They serve one of the nation’s most vulnerable low-income neighborhoods and operate the largest farmers’ market food access program in the nation, distributing over $1.5 million in free food vouchers each year. Their market provides essential food relief for our low-income community.
