The El Dorado County Certified Farmers’ Market Association (EDCCFMA) has created four markets in El Dorado County…Saturday in Placerville, Sunday in El Dorado Hills at Town Center, Tuesday in South Lake Tahoe, Wednesday in Cameron Park.
The El Dorado County Certified Farmers’ Market Association (EDCCFMA) is incorporated as a non-profit, participates in the California Certified Farmers' Markets and is dedicated to the farmers in El Dorado County. To that end, EDCCFMA has created four markets in El Dorado County…Saturday in Placerville, Sunday in El Dorado Hills at Town Center, Tuesday in South Lake Tahoe, Wednesday in Cameron Park. At all those markets local, just picked produce is sold by the farmers which is nutritionally superior unlike store produce which was picked days ago and miles away. At the same time, you can meet the farmers and learn about their dedication to growing and harvesting, their farming practices and special preparation suggestions…and therefore a friendship is formed. You will learn what will be harvested soon and make plans and swap recipes with your community neighbors.
