Missoula's original farmers' market, a gathering of food and friends since 1972, offering fresh local produce, meats, creative culinary delights, and handcrafted items.
The Missoula Farmers' Market was formed in 1972 as a local farm and garden market. The market is open all growing season long, from the first Saturday in May to the end of October. In the spring you will find veggie starts and greens, summertime brings tomatoes, huckleberries, cherries, peaches, melons and corn, and fall's bounty includes squash & pumpkins, apples and garlic. Locally grown, raised, gathered and processed meat, eggs and mushrooms are available all season long. You can also grab a cup of coffee or a cold beverage and a treat from one of our bakers and prepared food vendors who hail from Missoula and all over the world as you stroll through the market to the tune of the day's musicians. Enjoy the atmosphere and browse a wide selection of canned vegetables, jellies, jams, and sauces, dried teas, honey, handcrafted face and body care products and other value-added products made from local ingredients.
The Missoula Farmers' Market was established in 1972 and is one of the oldest farmers' markets in Montana. The market's success sparked the creation of the People’s Market and the Clark Fork River Market. It operates in the same location it started in, next to the XXXXs.
